Australian Tanks products are easy to specify on a drawing – they’re easy to size, and are workable within most site constraints.
Australian Tanks have a unique modular solution for sewer emergency storage tanks, catering for required storage volumes from 2,300 litres up to and over 500,000 litres.

Our Sewer Emergency Storage and Overflow Tanks are, as standard, constructed to an extra heavy duty rating:
Combined with the trafficable construction, our tanks can support up to 1700mm of coverage over them. This provides a broad scope of options as to where they can be installed, giving you peace of mind they are rated for heavy duty traffic.
The solution Australian Tanks offer is based on two main strengths:
Our solutions are designed for small, medium, or large capacities and compete extremely favourably with alternative precast or built-on-site systems. Additionally, the lifecycle costs measure extremely well against alternatives as they are very easy to access, clean and maintain.
Every Australian Tanks system is delivered with weir walls, filtration, penetrations, trash screens, ladders, risers, manholes, drainage holes and orifice plates in place, ready for immediate install in the prepared site excavation. Importantly, all systems are pre-cured with no further waterproofing required. Installation takes place in hours, not weeks, to be connected and backfilled within the same day.
We provide tanks that are made to Australian Standards to allow for restricted heavy vehicle access based:
Our range of tanks are easily interconnected in multiples to create any volume quickly and cost effectively. Every system is certifiable, with increasing numbers of engineers incorporating our systems into their designs due to the structural integrity and multiple efficiencies of our service.
Our products are easily modified to fit the volume required on your project. Along with other on-site parameters we can create the ideal custom solution for you and your team.
Australian Tanks’ modular systems arrive to site with all fabrication completed in our factory, including benching in the tanks for ease of maintenance. Connection stubs are sealed-in for a quick and easy installation, and internally epoxy coated to protect the concrete from hydrogen sulphide gases, ensuring a long-life design.
Our tanks incorporate an anti-floatation design, so even when the tanks are empty and installed in 100% saturation, there is no requirement for special ballasting.
Each tank has benching fabricated so that it is graded to a central channel. In the event of a pump station breakdown, or high level of ingress that causes the emergency storage to be utilised, once rectified the maintenance crew need only lift the lid on each tank and hose it down; the benching directs the flow back to the pump station.
As each tank has an access lid, the maintenance can be performed without confined space entry providing WHS benefits and genuine financial savings on maintenance.
Australian Tanks could never have grown to where it is now with out our valued customers. Our service and attention to detail is the reason our customers keep returning to solve their water storage solutions.
