Tile Street Detention system

The Challenge

Australian Tanks teamed up with Vaughan Construction and VTCE to provide an on-site detention system that met the filtration requirements.

The client required an installation of an on-site water detention system below the car park at Tile st. An ocean protect filtration system was also required to manage any overflow or leakage of hydrocarbons so a large cartridge bay was needed.

The Solution

The Parthenon system was selected for this project, offering 806kL total capacity, and the procured pre-cast tanks meant that the car park was able to be utilised for the project quickly.

The need for excessive concrete false flooring was eliminated by utilising a 2-level system in the tank base allowing an area to house the filtration cartridges.

The Results

The final outcome was a unique and custom solution to meet the out-of-the-box requirements that the client required. A fast installation that is immediately trafficable allowed for minimal impact on the timeline of the project.
