We design and manufacture some of Australia’s best water tanks and onsite stormwater detention systems. With a new manufacturing yard up and running at our North Gold Coast location, we’re now better placed to meet client timelines.
In the past, production wait times were affecting project outcomes for many stakeholders. Now that we have more space, our production capacity has increased to accelerate production and expand our manufacturing capacities.
The new yard has been set up with an optimised workflow design that reduces pinch points. By improving concrete truck access and revamping our pouring methods, we’ve streamlined our production process.
The win for us is the ability to produce more of our quality tanks at greater speed, and our team is busier than ever doing just that.

Our new manufacturing yard has made it easier to access Australian-made water tanks without having to wait for expensive and slow delivery of inferior plastic tanks from overseas or endure timeline blowouts caused by local project backlogs.
The yard also provides storage capabilities, so we are able to start on our next job without waiting for tanks to be collected. This has been an issue in the past due to transport problems or internal project complications. Still, these types of delays no longer mean every project on the production line has to experience a setback when something goes wrong with one job.

New tank sizes
An upgraded manufacturing yard is just part of the ongoing innovation at Australian Tanks.
As well as reducing wait times, we have also recently fabricated a new mould for our existing modular OSD tanks. This item will soon be available with a capacity of 15kL, bridging the gap between our larger tank sizes and offering more options for engineers, designers and project managers who require smaller models.
